These Terms are a binding agreement governing your use of DeTrustPay services and protocol-facing tools. Chain finality and non-custodial execution are core operating conditions.

Scope

Protocol layer (on-chain)

DeTrustPay Protocol (eDDE) executes deterministic state transitions and settlement logic on Solana.

  • Execution is non-custodial and signature-driven.
  • Finalized chain outcomes cannot be reversed by DeTrustPay.
  • Protocol rules apply equally to all users and counterparties.
Scope

Application layer (off-chain services)

Web services support discovery and usability around protocol activity.

  • Indexing, notifications, and account tooling are service-level features.
  • Temporary lag can occur between chain state and UI representation.
  • Service access may be restricted for policy or security reasons.
Eligibility and compliance

Who may use DeTrustPay

You are responsible for lawful access and compliant operation.

  • You must have legal capacity to accept these Terms.
  • You must comply with applicable laws, sanctions, and jurisdictional restrictions.
  • You are responsible for ensuring use of DeTrustPay is lawful where you operate.
Custody and signatures

Wallet responsibility

DeTrustPay is non-custodial. You are responsible for signing decisions.

  • You retain sole control of private keys and signing authority.
  • DeTrustPay does not custody wallets, seed phrases, or private keys.
  • Signed transactions are your responsibility and may be irreversible after confirmation.
Finality and settlement

On-chain outcomes and dispute boundaries

Deterministic settlement means chain-confirmed outcomes are authoritative.

  • On-chain confirmations are final and not subject to unilateral reversal.
  • Support cannot invalidate or roll back finalized transfers.
  • DeTrustPay does not provide subjective arbitration for off-chain delivery facts.
ImportantIf a transaction is finalized on-chain, it is not subject to reversal through support or account actions.
Fees, taxes, and costs

Economic responsibility

You are responsible for transaction economics and related obligations.

  • Network fees are paid by the signing wallet.
  • Protocol and service fees, if applicable, are disclosed before submission.
  • Users are responsible for taxes, reporting, and third-party compliance obligations.
Prohibited use and enforcement

Enforcement rights and account restrictions

Violations are handled under policy controls designed to protect users and service integrity.

  • We may warn, rate-limit, suspend, or terminate service access for violations.
  • We may preserve records and report activity where required by applicable law.
  • Service-level enforcement does not alter finalized blockchain outcomes.
Liability and warranties

Service limitations

Operational risk and third-party dependencies remain part of blockchain usage.

  • Services are provided on an as-is and as-available basis.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, uptime, or error-free operation.
  • We are not liable for losses caused by user error, key compromise, chain conditions, or third-party infrastructure failures to the maximum extent permitted by law.
